Consulting firm Flint Global has expanded its presence in Western Europe by integrating the public affairs practice of Considerati. The move adds a team of about 20 professionals based in Amsterdam and Brussels, strengthening Flint Global’s advisory capabilities across the Benelux region.
The transaction marks another step in Flint Global’s international growth strategy as demand continues to rise for political, regulatory, and public affairs advice across Europe. The newly added team will become part of Flint Global’s operations while continuing to support clients in the Netherlands, Belgium, and the wider European market.
Founded in 2015, Flint Global provides political and regulatory consulting services to businesses, investors, and organizations operating in complex policy environments. The firm advises clients on government relations, competition policy, regulation, and political developments that may affect business operations.
The company currently operates offices in London, Brussels, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Melbourne. Its international network allows clients to receive support across multiple jurisdictions while responding to changing regulatory and political conditions.
Thomas Barros-Tastets, Managing Partner for Europe at Flint Global, welcomed the expansion and praised Considerati’s public affairs team.
He said the two firms share similar values and long-term ambitions. According to Barros-Tastets, combining local expertise with an international platform will allow the firm to better serve clients across different markets and strengthen its presence throughout Europe.
Considerati is a Dutch consulting company that focuses on two main business areas: legal and compliance services, and public affairs. The firm’s public affairs division was established in 2015 and has since developed into one of the leading advisory practices in the Netherlands.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer Ton Wagemans said the public affairs team has built a strong reputation under the leadership of Bart Pegge. He also highlighted the growth of the firm’s Brussels office, particularly in advising clients in the technology and healthcare sectors.
The expansion reflects increasing demand for specialist advice in areas where government policy, regulation, and business strategy intersect. Companies operating across Europe are facing evolving rules on technology, competition, sustainability, healthcare, and digital markets, increasing the need for experienced public affairs advisers.
As part of the transaction, Bart Pegge will join Flint Global as a partner and become a member of the firm’s leadership team. He said the move provides new opportunities for both clients and employees by combining local knowledge with a wider international advisory network.
Pegge added that Flint Global shares Considerati’s commitment to client service and long-term growth. He believes the combined business will allow clients to benefit from broader expertise across European markets while maintaining strong local support.
Industry analysts note that consolidation among consulting firms has increased in recent years as clients seek integrated advice covering public policy, regulatory compliance, legal issues, and government relations. Expanding geographic reach has also become an important competitive advantage for firms serving multinational businesses.
The addition of Considerati’s public affairs practice is expected to strengthen Flint Global’s position in the Netherlands and Belgium while enhancing its ability to advise clients on European Union policy and regulatory developments from its expanded Brussels and Amsterdam teams.
With the new team now joining the organization, Flint Global plans to continue growing its advisory services across Europe. The company says the expanded platform will help clients navigate increasingly complex political and regulatory environments while supporting long-term business and investment decisions across international markets.
