West Ham United have strengthened their attack by signing Pablo Felipe from Gil Vicente and agreeing a deal for Taty Castellanos.
The combined outlay could reach £47m as the club fight relegation.
Pablo joins for £18.3m plus add-ons after scoring nine goals this season in Portugal.
The 21-year-old said he has arrived to prove himself and help the team survive.
West Ham have also agreed a £26.1m move for Castellanos from Lazio.
The 27-year-old forward has two goals this season and offers a deeper attacking option.
The deals were driven by manager Nuno Espírito Santo, who rejected a £40m move for Jørgen Strand Larsen.
West Ham are 18th and short of strikers after Niclas Füllkrug’s loan exit.
A centre-back remains a priority as squad changes continue.
