US President Donald Trump delivered his “last warning” to Hamas on Sunday, demanding acceptance of a new ceasefire proposal. He claimed Israel already agreed to the terms, though he declined to specify details publicly.
Social Media Message Increases Pressure
Trump posted on Truth Social, declaring, “Everyone wants the Hostages HOME. Everyone wants this War to end!” He warned Hamas that no further ultimatums would follow. US Special Envoy Steven Witkoff reportedly sent the proposal to Hamas the same day.
Deal Outlines Hostage and Prisoner Exchange
The proposal promises that the US will push for Israel’s military withdrawal if Hamas frees all hostages. In return, Israel would release up to 3,000 Palestinian prisoners. Reports indicate 48 hostages remain in Gaza, though only about 20 are believed alive.
Washington Pushes for Resolution
Trump previously issued a similar “last warning” in March. His latest ultimatum places new public pressure on Hamas to respond. Washington insists the deal could finally bring an end to the prolonged conflict.
